Improving mathematics learning outcomes is one of the main priorities in education to produce competent students in various fields. Students of grade VIII MTsN 6 Tanah Datar still show relatively low learning outcomes. Based on daily assessments, it can be seen that they have not been able to obtain grades that are in accordance with the criteria for completeness of learning outcomes. One alternative to overcome this problem is through the application of a cooperative learning model of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type. This study aims to find out the extent to which students' mathematics learning outcomes improve after being taught using the TAI cooperative model. The subjects of the study were 32 students of class VIII. The instrument used is in the form of a description test that is compiled referring to indicators of mathematics learning outcomes. A simple random sampling technique was applied to determine the sample, and the selected one was class VIII.5. The results of the study show that students have met the standards of completeness at MTsN 6 Tanah Datar. The data also shows an increase in the number of students who achieve scores above the KKTP compared to the previous daily assessment. This shows the success of learning in improving mathematics learning outcomes. Thus, it is proven that the application of the Team Assisted Individualization type cooperative learning model is able to help students achieve better learning outcomes.
